This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Nau·Lab Yacht Design Academy ("Nau·Lab", "we", "us") collects through naulab.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who We Are
Nau·Lab is a yacht design studio headquartered in Monaco, with studios in Auckland and Fort Lauderdale. This policy covers our public website, our membership area, and Nau·Lab Courses.
Information We Collect
When you contact us, we collect the name, email, phone number, and project details you submit. When you create a membership account, we collect your full name, email address, and password (stored encrypted — we never see it in plain text). If you enroll in an Academy package, we record which package and when. If you sign up using a referral code, we record that code against your account.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to operate your account, process Academy enrollments, respond to inquiries, attribute referrals, and — only if you've agreed to be contacted — to reach out about your project or membership. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Account and membership data is stored and processed by Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on infrastructure within the European Union. Supabase acts as our data processor and is contractually bound to protect your information.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary for the site to function: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember your language preference (English or Turkish). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we will action the request within a reasonable time.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us. You may also update your name and password directly from your account.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
